Description
Improved! crockery Improved! is the name of used crockery that has been given a new lease of life by reprinting them with new designs, using the screenprint-technique for ceramics. The new designs (imaging body-movements) are applied over the edges and round the sides of the cups and saucers. Utilising the circular shapes of the crockery the images seem to be moving. Either next to, or on top of the original prints, they are always interrelating in a special way. Every design is chosen specifically for its particular shape to preserve the unique character of each cup and saucer.

Improved! glass The festive wine, champagne, port and longdrink glasses of Royal Leerdam are provided with an image from dancing, jumping and floating figures. The bodies are draped around the glasses and seem to be cathed into the glass. |
