Netherlands

The Netherlands are a very healthy country and no special precautions are needed to visit it. Make sure you have valid medical insurance because hospital bills don't come cheap. For common problems, you should be able to walk in at most doctors at their 'spreekuren', usually from 7:30 to about 10:00, explain what is wrong and get a prescription. You would have to be pay cash for the visit, about 30 guilders or so.
